See-Through Mirage LED Display

1.1 Brief description of purpose and operation of system

The Mirage M40 video display system is designed for indoor and outdoor use, where a high quality dynamic image is to be made visible to large numbers of people. Modular screens of LED tiles are configured according to end-user requirements offering an unlimited number of display possibilities.

Any standard video source providing an analogue signal can be connected to the system through the supervision video Processor*. Sophisticated control and digital signal processing electronics converts the analogue signal into digital data which are distributed to the LED screens, reproducing the original image in large screen format.

2.1 Mirage M40 LED screen Assembly

Each Mirage M40 LED screen comprises an LED tiles, PDD (power and data distributor) , and metal sheet which is used to fix LED tiles through connecting the led tiles .


2.2 LED tile

The front face of the Mirage M40 screen is fitted with many Oval emitting diode (LED) tile known as LED tile. Each tile is fitted with 192 LEDs* plus associated drive electronics. Electrical connections (DC-DC module, and 9-pinl Male /Female data & power supply connectors ) are made to the rear of each tile,

Each tile contains 8x 8 pixels and each pixel is composed by 3 LEDs (1R1G1B), so there are totally 192 LEDs fitted on the front face of a tile.

2.3  PDD( power and data distributor box) 

The PDD are composed by four power supplies (PSU) ,one receiving card and Hub card, and one DC-DC module , and PSU offer electricity to tiles
The receiving card can receive data at its input connectors (main DATA IN) from upstream PDD or controller system, and transfer serial data to parallel data and send to Hub card and,  then the Hub card distributes to tiles.

3.  Installation Guidelines



3.1 Mechanical


The Mirage rigging system is designed to be fast installed and dismantled because of without screw. Moreover, due to our advanced design idea with  LED tile  super slim(thickness: 18mm) and light weight (each square meter weight: 6.7kg/kg), so LED screen rigging  is very simple and easy.

The LED tiles are connected one by one, we must mind the gap between neighbor tiles, It is important to ensure that the entire screen is correctly aligned both vertically and horizontally, to ensure there are no visible gaps.
